What are some sites that WORK when you load a layout for your blog on blogger.com?

also…if i do find layouts that i like, WHY CAN’T I LOAD THEM?!

i save them to my harddrive, try to load it, & get one of 2 messages:

I want to create a custom WordPress theme, but I don’t have administrative access to the computer that I’m using, so I can’t install WordPress to test my theme. Is there another easy way to do it? I have photoshop, and notepad ++ both installed on my flash drive, but as far as I know there is no way to install WordPress on a flash drive.

What is the easiest website template or format to maintain? I am looking to start a website where content needs to be added and changed daily as well as posting video audi updates, like a newsletter. I need a quick and easy to maintain site, but that still looks unique and not cookie cutter.

I have little knowledge of HTML and dreamweaver etc. What type of webpage formats exist that would convert a simple cut and paste from Word and allow the webmaster to add/edit content? Is there a certain program built into the webpage? What should I instruct the web designer in building this type of site?

I am thinking of using a really nice flash template to make a website.

The trouble is I am really not sure how to get the template to work once downloaded. What do I do? Do I just upload it onto my ftp? Or is there a content managment system available for flash templates which I should install first?

How do I make changes? I use macromedia flash only?
