I would like to use a different background for my blog at Blogger. Namely this one: http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd70/th3k1ll3r1nm3/bgk_batboxhouse_full.jpg

But Blogger works with templates, and I suck at handling those. Could someone tell me how to do this? Where exactly in the template do I put the code? And which code would I use then exactly?

Im entering a departmental blog competion at my university, I know, sounds corny– but there’s a pretty cool prize involved.

ANYWHO, I’m changing EVERYTHING all the way down to the posts and blog name. Here is what it looks like now: www.ajfare.blogspot.com. I want to change the all black sidebars, (the voided areas to the left and right of the main crap), to an image that I have myself. How in the world do I do that? Do I need to be HTML savvy? And if I wanted to change the font I have away from the default fonts that Blogger offers, how do I do that? Thank you for any information you can provide. Thank you. :o)
