A clean and simple template, I have tried to make it a little “web2ish”.

includes/templates/red_passion/buttons/english/button_tell_a_friend.gif

needed to be renamed:

button_TellAFriend.gif

with capital letters. If not the default showed:

includes/templates/template_default/buttons/english/button_TellAFriend.gif

P.S. there was a second directory with something about MAC_OSX. Also the directories were peppered with a bunch of .ds_store files, which appeared to be encrypted. Gone! Cleaned out. All safe.

This version of the popular Purpleshades template has been updated to work with Zencart V1.3. It is a tables based and CSS version of the template as opposed to just a pure CSS version, making it easier for newcomers to customise. Remember to regenerate your sideboxes using the admin/layout controller. An SQL file is also included but this may/may not be suitable for your configuration.

This version of the popular Purpleshades template has been revamped to remove the additional tables that were in the previous versions and has been updated to be compatible with Zen Cart version 1.3.6. It is more of a pure CSS version, and conforms to being altered using the same changes that are prevalent in other templates based on the default fileset. This should assist in making it easier for newcomers to customise and the community to support issues with it.

This version as provided, is XHTML Transitional compliant. A new support thread has been started at http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52953.

Like the earlier versions of this template, it is also a fully fluid, “full” width template at all screen resolutions. The side boxes can be resized to your preferences but in doing so you will have to create sidebox images to match. This template is a close match to the original and contains only a few files & a full button set with no PHP changes required. Instructions are included in the install.txt file.

A screen image is included within the ZIP as scr_template_purpleshades.jpg.

This template has been designed by our team at Passion Cove Lingerie and is presented here for your use.

We have also implemented Better Categories Module from Gilby to add the rollover image to the categories.

The CSS has been modified significantly to provide the look you see. The buttons with roll overs on the navigation menu were created using the pixy method. This allows for the loading of one image for the button and rollover image together, so you don’t get the lag in loading the rollover image.

The logo and button images have been saved as .png files which are easily changed in Macromedia Fireworks.

This template has been tested with ZenCart 1.3.7 and as provided, it is XHTML Transitional compliant.

This is another simple Zen Cart template (just like I like ‘em) with not a lot of clutter. This time, I’ve utilized the Nifty Corners technique. You can read more about Nifty Corners here: http://www.html.it/articoli/niftycube/index.html. With this template, you are able to have curved corners, while at the same time you are able to change the colors instantly. No need to create “images” as corners. It’s all done via css and javascript.

This will work with Zen Cart v 1.3.5 as well as 1.3.0.2.
